SU council follows up the final touches in the application of the precautionary measures previously approved

Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi, SU president, headed the meeting of the SU Council, and it was attended by the SU vice-president, faculties` deans, and the council members. The attendees discussed several different topics on the top of which is the follow-up to previous decisions taken in the deans’ council held last Monday headed by Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi, SU president. The meeting reviewed the procedures and steps taken on the ground in preparation for holding the first semester examinations scheduled to begin next Saturday, 27 this month, under the strict precautionary measures confirmed by the Higher Council of Universities, including:

  1. All faculties and administrations of the University shall announce the steps of precautionary measures on the official websites and pages of various faculties and administrations of the University.
  2. Check the readiness of various university and faculties gates according to specific entry and exit paths to prevent any crowding.
  3. Readiness of sterilization gates on various university and faculties entrances, and terraces.
  4. Ensure that various university faculties provide protection requirements (temperature detectors - disinfectants - masks... etc.).
  5. Affirm the university's administrative security team the need to follow up the commitment of all university leaders to these procedures strictly.
  6. Reduce the densities within the examination halls to ensure and achieve the required social distancing.
  7. Everyone related to the examination process (staff-employees-students) must comply with these procedures without any complacency.
  8. Provide continuous and periodic sterilization before and after each exam for all examination halls and headquarters.
  9. To emphasize to all university pioneers the need not to circulate personal tools especially related to the exam.

Hence, Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi, SU president, after the meeting stated that the council had commended the intensive preparations already made on the ground for the launch of the first semester examinations under the stringent precautionary measures as previously approved.
