An overview of the project:

Egypt suffers from a real problem for the future of energy production which must meet the size of domestic consumption as well as new and giant investment projects. As well, Egypt has also become the leader again of the investment map in the Middle East. Therefore, the search for alternatives to fuel has become imperative and urgent. Egyptian researchers and investors must take advantage of renewable sources of energy such as wind, solar, and waste, as well as biofuels. In this regard, hydrogen is one of the most important sources of energy in the twenty-first century.
The objectives of the project:
- The establishment of a distinctive plant serving the Suez region and Sinai, in particular, Egypt in general, to possess state-of-the-art equipment and to provide and guarantee the highest safety equipment for workers and researchers at the plant.
- Creation and formation of a distinguished Egyptian scientific school of students and young researchers interested in this field through training, holding workshops, and providing laboratory and technical facilities for Egyptian, Arab, and African researchers.
- To provide applied research and transfer of this new technology to the Egyptian market as well as to conclude cooperation protocols with similar laboratories locally, Arabically, and regionally.
