Suez University team wins the Best Mechanical Design Award in the Middle East and North Africa

The Suez University IEEE team was able to win a deserved victory in the Minesweepers competition in the International Robotics Arc Championship. This competition was under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Madbouli, the prime minster. Moreover, it was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, The Academy of Scientific Research in collaboration with the National Institute for Communication Regulation NTRA. 

The IEEE team at Suez University successfully made a mechanical design of a mine-sweeping robot in which the university team won the Best Design Award in the Middle East and North Africa. 

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi sent a congratulatory message to the members of the team that was able to raise the name of Suez University in this important forum, wishing his students continued success and progress.   

For their part, the students expressed their appreciation for the continued support they receive from the university administration, and the continued supervision of Dr. Ashraf Hanijl, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed, the director of the Center for Innovation and Technological Development at Suez University, as well as technical support for Dr. Mohammed Aziz, the undersecretary of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Students affairs. 

The team includes students from the Faculties of Engineering and Computers and Information at the university.
