Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, chaired an expanded meeting of the Committee for Evaluating the Performance of the University and its various units, in the presence of the University’s Vice Presidents and committee members. The meeting was held as part of the University’s commitment to strengthening institutional performance and enhancing the quality of its educational and administrative services in accordance with quality and excellence standards.
The meeting comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to develop the higher education system and enhance institutional performance efficiency at Egyptian universities, in implementation of the vision of Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aims to consolidate a culture of excellence and governance and improve the quality of educational, research, and community services. It also follows the directives of the Supreme Council of Universities concerning the continuous monitoring of performance indicators and improving work efficiency across various university sectors, thereby contributing to achieving the objectives of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research and enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian universities at both the regional and international levels.
During the meeting, the University President reviewed the status of the evaluation files for the University’s various sectors and units, as well as the rates of progress achieved with regard to the indicators and standards required under the initiative. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and continuous coordination among the various administrative departments to ensure that the required targets are achieved within the specified timelines.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal directed that all files and documents required for the initiative be completed and finalized as soon as possible, and that all required data and information be uploaded to the designated electronic platform. He also stressed the need to ensure accuracy and continuously update the data so that it accurately reflects the University’s efforts across its academic, administrative, and community-service domains.
