This morning, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, met the Major General Staff of War Abdelmajid Saqr, the Suez Governor, to attend the monthly meeting of the Council of the University. This meeting was attended by the SU Vice-Presidents, Deans faculties, and Council Members.

 The Governor congratulated the SU President on the republican decision to appoint his sovereignty as President of the Suez University, wishing his sovereignty success and progress. Saqr praised the level of ongoing cooperation between the governorate and the University in various sectors. He also emphasized the importance of thinking in new ways about various problems to find solutions outside the box.

For his part, the President thanked the Governor for this generous gesture. Hnigal spoke about the University of Suez entering the “THE” ranking of The British as one of the strongest international ranks, which provides the university with opportunities to open up to international universities. Furthermore, the President spoke about the need for the University to increase the number of buildings allocated to the University to use university accommodation for students. The President also spoke about the possibility of increasing the number of students in the University dormitories by supporting the Governorate with additional units. The Governor directed to work to overcome all difficulties and provide the necessary units. He stressed the importance of continuing cooperation with the governorate, especially since this service role of the University is one of the University's priorities in investing its material and human potential to serve the surrounding community.
