This morning, General Staff / Abdu Al-Majed Saker, Governor of Suez, inaugurated Suez Cultural Walkway beside Garden of the Khalideen. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, SU president, Ashraf Hanijl, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Abdullah Ramadan, the vice-governor, Mr. Khaled Al-Saadawi, General Secretary of the Governorate, Brigadier General\ Ihab Sirajuddin, the assistant secretary general, and a number of popular and executive leaders of the Governorate. 

As well, the cultural walkway tells the history of the valiant city of Suez's struggle through various art murals that reflect many national events and memories, such as the glorious saga of October victory, the excavation of the Suez Canal, and the reconstruction and construction of the current phase. 

Moreover, Suez University participates in the walkway with murals designed by the University's Department of Artistic Education. SU president stated that the University's desire to participate in this cultural celebration is an affirmation of what you all see as the great achievements that have been made on the ground by the ordinary citizen of Suez Street.
