The Gen-Z competition was conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the United Media Services Company. Moreover, this competition aims to spread the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among Egyptian university students from all different scientific disciplines; Those with innovative ideas or community initiatives that address the difficulties and challenges of society and support them to create start-ups based on innovative ideas.

The competition offers financial support to each eligible team up to a maximum of 2 million pounds in hosting prizes. Participating teams also have the opportunity to attend a range of management and finance training programs, mentoring sessions, and mentoring sessions.
