In the framework of the evaluation of the performance of public and private Mass and Communication Technology faculties in Egypt in terms of the nature of the material and human resources, the quality of the educational process, and according the terms of reference of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdalghaffar, the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, notes the need for periodic review of the potential and capabilities of the various faculties by the specialized committees. The Faculty of Mass and Communication Technology at Suez University receives the Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, which included Prof. Dr. Hassan Imad Mekawy, Professor of the Faculty of Mass and Communication Technology, and journalist writer Rafat Fayyad, the editor-in-chief of Al-Youm newspaper, member of the sector committee d. Amin Said Abdel Ghani, the dean of the faculty. It was attended by Dr. Ola Amer, the undersecretary for education and student affairs, staff Members, and their assistants. 

Moreover, the commission inspected the faculty building and heard a presentation by the dean of the faculty on the components of the building, which included lecture halls, laboratories, the digital library, and the seminar hall, as well as the radio and television studio area, which was equipped with the highest quality and efficiency. As well, the visit also included an open meeting with staff and their assistants, as well as a meeting with faculty students from all grades. 

The Committee was pleased with the advanced potential of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology and commended the qualified cadres for achieving the vision, mission, and objectives of the faculty.
