A cooperation protocol between the University Centre for Professional Development and the ceramics and porcelain industry company "Karas"

Under the auspices and attendance of Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU President, signed a cooperation protocol between the University Centre for Professional Development and the Ceramics and Porcelain Industry Company (Ceramica Orient). The protocol was signed by Dr. Ahmed Abu Al-Hassan, the Director of the University Centre for Professional Development, and by Mr. Romani Abdul Sayed Bashara, the Director of Administrative Affairs of the Company.

Moreover, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU President stated that this protocol is one of the series of cooperation steps undertaken by the University Center for Professional Development In the past, a number of cooperation agreements have been concluded with several professional institutions, whether industrial, commercial or educational, with a view to achieving one of the main objectives represented in linking the training and activities carried out by the University Centre for Professional Development to the labor market.

Furthermore, the SU President explained that these agreements, which the University is keen to support and overcome all obstacles in order to achieve, come from the University's social responsibility and its constant desire to develop the skills of students and graduates and enable them to obtain outstanding training opportunities that will transform the academic reality of the study into a training reality that will help them to pursue everything new in order to reach the highest performance and quality rates.

For his part, Abu al-Hassan explained that the University Centre for Professional Development had already been able to obtain a series of training opportunities at Karas for a number of distinguished trainees at the Center. As well, the Director of the Centre also stated that this protocol aims to train students and graduates of Suez University (in various disciplines) academically and practically at Karas to acquire practical experiences from the ground. The agreement also requires that field visits be undertaken for students under the supervision of the company and in the light of the working policies within it to learn about the nature and requirements of work and professional life.

The signature ceremony was attended by M. Faraj, the factory director, and Dr. Parsoma Joseph Weib, a relationship and partnership specialist with business owners.
