Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the direction of Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Atta, the SU President, participated in the comprehensive and integrated development convoy organized by the University of Al-Arish for universities east of the delta "Suez- Al-Arish - Suez Canal - Damietta - Port Said”. It was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Said Hamid Abadi, the SU Vice-President of the University for Community Service and Environment Development, in the village of Sukaska and the city of Sheikh Zuweid.

It is worth mentioning that this convoy comes within the framework of the initiative of His Excellency President Abdelfattah El-Sisi of the Republic "Haya Karima", which includes various medical, veterinary, and agricultural specialties.

Furthermore, the SU President explained that participation in these events is one of the priorities of the duties of university work, a large part of which is devoted to the service of the surrounding community. He also commended his sovereignty on the concerted efforts of various universities to provide their services to citizens.

Atta also pointed out that the objectives of these societal activities of the University are derived from the objectives of the Presidential Initiative, which seeks to alleviate rural and urban citizens, as well as to achieve the comprehensive development of rural communities most in need with a view to eradicating multidimensional poverty to provide citizens with a dignified and sustainable life at the level of the Republic.
