The SU President inspects some projects at the University

This morning, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU President, inspected some of the University's construction projects.  He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mohamed Henjil, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Adviser to the President of the University, and delegates of the National Investment Bank, Mr. Nehad Farouk Makki, the Director General of Public Services, Mrs. Sara Salah Badr, the Researcher of the Suez University in the Bank, Mr. Abdul Fatah Tariq. It was attended by M. Mona Samir Mustafa, Assistant Secretary for Finance Affairs; To follow up on the projects listed in Suez University's investment plan for the fiscal year 2023/2024.

The SU President and the accompanying delegation visited the educational hospital, the new university city, and the central laboratory complex... The attendees expressed satisfaction with the extent to which the construction had evolved and with the level of progress in the construction's completion.

Furthermore, the President stated that these projects are thanks to the current level of efforts of Prof. Dr. Abdul Azim Al Sharqawi, the former President of the University. He also noted that this visit is aimed at identifying the progress of the University's projects in preparation for the completion of these projects.

He also explained that the University Hospital Project is located on an area of 40 thousand meters and includes buildings (Main hospital, service building, and water tank and fire) with 260 beds - 15 operating rooms (13 operations + 2 binoculars) - 26 emergency beds - 22 dialysis beds - 23 intensive care beds - 25 infant incubators- 17 outpatients - 6 analytical laboratories - 6 radiology rooms.

Moreover, the President explained that the new university city is intended to consist of three residential buildings (an economic building, and 2 investment buildings) the economic building consists of 300 rooms bears 900 students, as well as dining halls and service complexes, and the investment building has 96 rooms bears 190 students. The President revealed the city's readiness to receive 400 students spread over 140 rooms at the start of the new university year as a first phase.

The Faculty of Science's Central Laboratory Building consists of four roles containing research laboratories, student laboratories, a number of stands, classrooms, and the Seminar Hall. At the end of the visit, the President thanked the delegation of the National Investment Bank for their efforts to contribute to the development of projects at Suez University over the past years.
