Under the auspices and directive of Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU President, this morning, a delegation of Prof. Dr. Hossam El-din Moustafa, the Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education, Prof. Dr. Yasser Amon, the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Science, Prof. Dr. Hani Shalabi, the Dean of Faculty Dentistry, visited the Porcelain Factory of Egypt Company-Spain at Ataka District in Suez.

As well, the delegation was met by Engineer/Fawzi El-Kilani, the General Director of the Factory, who took representatives of the university on an inspection tour of the Factory. During the tour, the factory manager explained the different stages of production, the plant's potential and productive capacity, and the main problems facing the company's management in the operation process.

The SU President also stated to the Media Centre that the visit came within the framework of the operationalization of the protocol signed last week with the Investors' Union - the dual education center. This was conducted in the presence of Dr. Subhi Ibrahim Nasr, the head of the center.

Moreover, Atta noted that during today's visit, the SU delegation discussed with the factory responsible for the cooperation between the University through its students, graduates, and staff on one side, and the factory on the other.

Furthermore, Atta added that the previously signed Protocol one of its objectives to cooperate with industrial enterprises to highlight the most important applied solutions suited to factory requirements in order to support Egyptian companies and blend graduation projects with work requirements.

In addition to linking university education to the industry through (practical training for students - providing summer field training opportunities for students in factories and companies with the work of a graduation project at the end of the training period - making field visits to students at the university to learn about the various industries).

The visit was also attended by Prof. Dr. Adel Amer, the Undersecretary of the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering and Mining, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Yousef, the Undersecretary of the Faculty of Technology and Education, and Dr. Omar Mohamed Omar, the Undersecretary of the Faculty of Technology and education.
