According to the instructions of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdulghaffar, the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to follow up with all faculties to determine its readiness with various material and human infrastructure. Therefore, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mazen, the dean of the Faculty of Arts, welcomed the arts sector headed by Prof. Dr. Zainab Afifi Shaker, the emeritus professor at the Faculty of Arts in Menoufia University. The committee also includes Prof. Dr. Mohamed Foad Abdulaziz, the dean of the Faculty of Arts at Al-Arish University, and Prof. Dr. Atia Tantawy, the dean of the Faculty of African Graduate Studies at Cairo University. 

The committee was accompanied by the faculty dean and undersecretaries to take a tour in various halls, terraces, and laboratories of the faculty. The committee was impressed by the possibilities available at the SU Faculty of Arts.
