A cooperation protocol between Suez University and the National Centre for Dual Technological Education (Investors' Union)

This morning, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Atta, Acting President of Suez University, received in his office Dr. Subhi Ibrahim Nasr, President of the National Center for Dual Technology Education, member of the Board of Directors of the Investors' Union, to sign a cooperation protocol between the University and the Center in the presence Prof. Dr. Hamid Abadi, SU Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development.

The National Centre is the executive arm of the Federation of National Investors in Technical Education, Vocational Training, and Human Resources Development, which plays a key role in the management and implementation of the dual education and training system as a service provider at the level of Egypt.

Atta stated that this protocol aims to build capacity and play a key role in qualifying university students and graduates and equipping them with skills and abilities that allow them to meet the needs of the labor market by preparing highly skilled graduates.

The protocol also aims to help create an enabling environment for the scientific research community in all its aspects, allowing students and graduates to keep pace with scientific progress by providing opportunities to exchange experiences and learn about the latest scientific trends and achievements through training programs and organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops.

Moreover, SU President added that one of the areas of cooperation is to highlight the most important applied solutions that fit the requirements of factories to support Egyptian companies and blend graduation projects with the requirements of work.

In addition to linking university education to the industry through (practical training for students - providing summer field training opportunities for students in factories and companies with a graduation project at the end of the training period - making field visits to the university students to learn about various industries)

as well as the assessment of students by an external committee of specialists in the field of the program.

The SU President expressed his pleasure at this cooperation, which will benefit SU students by linking them to the requirements of the labor market.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof. Dr. Sherif Mohammed Fahmy, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Husamuddin Mustafa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education, Prof. Dr. Yasser Amon, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information, Prof. Dr. Hani Shalabi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, and Dr. Mohamed Aziz, the undersecretary of the Faculty of Engineering.
