About the Faculty: The Faculty of Politics and Economics is one of the distinguished faculties. The faculty was established by the decision of the Prime Minister in 2015. The faculty was started in accordance with the ministerial decision in 2016.
The faculty was established as the first faculty of politics and economics in the Suez Canal, Sinai, and East Delta with the aim of developing skills and capabilities for political and economic science.
The vision of the faculty is to build scientific capacity in the fields of political science and economy, and excellence in scientific research as a contribution to cognitive renaissance and comprehensive development.
The mission of the faculty: Promote political and economic knowledge at the academic and applied levels and develop capacities and skills that respond to the professional and functional requirements of the fields of work and serve the local, regional, and international environment.
Overall objective: Graduating High-quality graduates in various scientific disciplines in the faculty in accordance with international quality and excellence standards.

Master's and Ph.D. in Political Science and Economics, as well as diplomas in many branches of political and economic science.
The faculty special centers
• Centre for Political and Economic Studies, a special unit.
• Scientific Journal is published by the SU Faculty of Politics and Economics. It has an impact factor of 7 out of 7 degrees according to the assessment of the Supreme Council of Universities (July 2022).
Excellence features of the SU Faculty of Politics and Economics
1.Providing smart systems for education by equipping rooms with educational tools as well as applying smart teaching systems such as interaction on the university's electronic platforms and implementing electronic tests. The faculty is the first faculty to conduct all examinations by the electronic testing system in Egypt.
2. The distinctive geographical location of the faculty in the Canal region, as well as the scientific and cultural diversity of faculty members in various scientific disciplines.
