Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sherif Mohamed Fahmy, Acting Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research affairs, and with the follow-up and implementation by Prof. Dr. Wael Qandil – Dean of the Faculty, Dr Zakaria Anwar Abdel Ghani – Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, In line with the Faculty’s vision and mission aimed at supporting scientific research, developing researchers’ capabilities, and promoting innovation in the field of sports, in keeping with the Egyptian state’s approach towards human development and the achievement of sustainable development.

It was conducted entitled “Towards a future in sport based on scientific research and innovation”, the Faculty of Sports Science announces the organization of the “First Scientific Forum for Young Researchers”, with the participation of postgraduate students and researchers from various Egyptian universities. The event will take place on Monday, 11 May 2026.

The forum aims to:

To foster a culture of scientific research in the field of sport.

To develop scientific thinking and innovation skills among the youth researchers.

To link the outcomes of scientific research to the needs of the sporting community and the labor market.

To promote scientific collaboration between researchers and teaching staff members.

The forum will cover the following topics:

- Sports training and kinesiology.

- Biomechanics and movement analysis.

- Sports physiology and public health.

- Sports psychology and motor behavior.

- Sports management and sports marketing.

- Innovation and technology in sport.

The best scientific research papers submitted will be recognized, based on the assessment of specialist judging panels.

The deadline for submission of researches are 7 May 2026.
