Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ezz El-Din Husseini Gad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Mosad Abou El-Diar, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, students of the Chinese Language Department at the Faculty of Arts achieved a distinguished accomplishment by winning first place among Egyptian universities in the Chinese-language theatrical sketch competition. The competition was held yesterday at the Confucius Institute at Cairo University, with the participation of 22 public and private universities.
Students of Suez University demonstrated remarkable excellence in theatrical performance and linguistic creativity, reflecting the level of training and effort exerted by both faculty members and students, and affirming the university’s role in supporting cultural and artistic activities.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, congratulated the winning students, expressing his pride in this achievement, which elevates the university’s standing among Egyptian universities. He emphasized that this success is the result of diligent work and fruitful cooperation between students and faculty members.
On this occasion, the University President affirmed that Suez University places great importance on student activities and encourages its students to participate in various cultural and artistic events, given their role in refining talents and developing creative abilities.
He also noted that winning first place in this competition reflects the academic excellence and diverse activities that the university is keen to support, confirming that the university will continue to provide all forms of support to ensure its students remain at the forefront.
