This afternoon, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU President, visited the headquarter of the General Office of the Suez Governorate. He was met by Major General/ Abdel-Majid Saqr, the Suez Governor, Dr. Abdullah Ramadan, the Deputy of the Governor, and the leadership of the Governorate.

As well, the Governor gave the shield of the governorate to Sharkawi to honor him for his presidency of the university, expressing his pleasure over the past period in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi in various areas of common interest. Moreover, During the past years, the University has witnessed many achievements in various sectors, particularly its role in the service of the community surrounding the support of His Excellency Major General/ Abdel-Majid Saqr and the fruitful cooperation between the University and the governorate.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharqawi expressed his pleasure at this tribute, thanking His Excellency Major General/ Abdel-Majid Saqr, emphasizing the University's developmental role in society, which is not to be settled thanks to cooperation, dedication, and sincerity in the work of officials on both sides.
