This evening, the Ramadan Tournament at Suez University officially kicked off for the President’s Cup, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanigel, President of Suez University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ezz El-Din Hosseini Gad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
The tournament features strong competitions among university students across various sports and cultural activities, including five-a-side football, Qur’an recitation, basketball, karate, and scouting, all held in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and student engagement.
Results of Day One
Five-a-side Football – Round of 16:
- Faculty of Media defeated Faculty of Education.
- Faculty of Arts defeated Faculty of Dentistry.
- Faculty of Commerce defeated the Nursing Institute.
- Faculty of Science defeated Faculty of Fisheries.
Quarterfinals:
- Faculty of Arts defeated Faculty of Media.
- Faculty of Commerce defeated Faculty of Science.
The Round of 16 and Quarterfinal matches for the remaining faculties will continue tomorrow, Monday, with great anticipation from the audience to see which teams will advance to the semifinals.
