Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, paid a visit to H.E. Major General Hany Rashad, Governor of Suez, to extend his congratulations on the occasion of assuming the position of Governor of Suez after gaining the confidence of the political leadership. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Allam, Deputy Governor, during which the University President offered his sincere congratulations on the appointment.
During the visit, the University President affirmed the continuation of close cooperation between the University and the Governorate across various fields in a manner that serves the people of Suez and supports sustainable development efforts. He also reviewed the capabilities of the University and its faculties—both governmental and private—as well as the educational and research programs they offer to serve the local community and meet labor market needs.
During the meeting, the University President invited H.E. the Governor to visit the University and learn about the academic and research achievements accomplished thus far.
Prof. Dr. Heniegal expressed his pleasure with the visit, emphasizing that the University will remain a key partner in supporting the Governorate’s efforts. For his part, Major General Hany Rashad, Governor of Suez, expressed his appreciation for the University’s role in serving the Suez community and affirmed his commitment to strengthening cooperation with the University in various fields.
