Under the patronage and guidance of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ezzeldin Husseini Gad, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, a delegation from Suez University took part in the opening ceremony of the Egyptian Universities and Institutes League for the Martyr El-Refai Competitions. The event was held at Nadi El-Nadi in the New Administrative Capital.
The ceremony was organized by the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation and witnessed high-level attendance, led by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, alongside delegations from participating Egyptian universities and institutes.
The participation of the Suez University delegation was particularly distinguished during the official parade, as the students presented an honorable image of belonging and commitment. Their enthusiasm reflected the university’s strong interest in student and sports activities and its commitment to being an active contributor to such events, which bring together Egypt’s higher education institutions under one banner.
In this context, the President of Suez University affirmed that the university places great importance on student and sports activities, as they provide genuine opportunities for developing skills and abilities and for fostering a spirit of cooperation and belonging among students. He added that such events constitute a fundamental pillar in building a well-rounded university student, stressing the university’s continued commitment to supporting these activities and encouraging sustained participation.
