Sun. 25 Jan, 2026

Peace be upon those who gave their lives so that Egypt could enjoy security.

With feelings of pride and appreciation, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanigal, President of Suez University, on behalf of himself and the entire university family, extends his sincere congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Major General Mahmoud Tawfik, Minister of the Interior, and all the loyal police officers who protect the home front, on the occasion of the 70th Police Day.

Fulfilling the promise of heroes... and saluting the spirit of the martyred captain

On this anniversary, which embodies the highest meanings of heroism, the President of Suez University bows in reverence and appreciation to the soul of the righteous son of the university who sacrificed his life for the homeland ten months ago:

The heroic martyr Captain Abdul Rahman Ezzedine Husseini (son of Professor Ezzedine Husseini, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs).

The sacrifice of Captain Abdul Rahman and his colleagues who died in the line of duty is the guarantee that has made our homeland an oasis of security and stability. His heroic story will remain a beacon for university students and the youth, teaching them that the most precious thing a person possesses is their homeland. As we congratulate the police on their holiday, we affirm that the blood of our heroes, such as Captain Abdel Rahman Husseini, has not been shed in vain, but is rather the light that illuminates our path to the future and to reconstruction.

May Allah safeguard Egypt, have mercy on our righteous martyrs, and grant the brave police officers a happy new year.
