Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, President of Suez University, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Vice-Presidents of the University, the Deans of the Faculties, the teaching staff members, and all members of the University, congratulated His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to the great Egyptians, and Major General Mahmoud Tawfik, Minister of the Interior, on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of Egyptian Police Day. Moreover, he emphasized that this occasion embodies the highest values of sacrifice demonstrated by police officers in the Battle of Ismailia in 1952, these heroic deeds took root and led to another historic epic in the valiant city of Suez on 24 October 1973, when police officers joined forces with the people and the popular resistance to repel the aggression and protect the nation's resources, making both events symbols of the steadfastness of the Egyptian will in the face of challenges. He pointed out that this rich legacy of sacrifice is the foundation upon which the state has built security and established the new republic, expressing Suez University's pride in being a beacon of learning in a city that has witnessed the greatest examples of unity between the people and the police. Furthermore, he emphasized the university's commitment to its role in instilling these national values and raising awareness of the heroism and history of the homeland among its students. He also asked Allah to protect Egypt and its people and to preserve the blessings of security and stability under the wise leadership of His Excellency, the President of the Republic.
