The Future Scientists Scholarship initiative, which is a major national event, embodies the political leadership's interest in supporting young minds. It is part of an ambitious national vision to promote investment in young minds and support sustainable scientific development in Egypt. It also reflects the Egyptian state's commitment to supporting higher education and scientific research, enabling youth to access fair and equal educational opportunities, and creating a generation capable of competing globally.
The philosophy behind this initiative is based on the fundamental principle that no financial obstacle should prevent any Egyptian student from achieving excellence and creativity. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in strategic cooperation with the Central Bank of Egypt, has launched this scholarship, which is considered a national investment initiative, intending to finance scholarships for outstanding Egyptian students with special abilities and empower young talents capable of contributing effectively to the nation's renaissance.
Upon his arrival at Cairo University, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, attended a photo session with a group of outstanding students who are beneficiaries of the "Future Scientists Scholarship."
The Prime Minister then entered the Grand Festival Hall to mark the start of the ceremony, which began with a speech by Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadiq, President of Cairo University. The ceremony featured a panel discussion with a group of students who had benefited from the scholarship, moderated by media personality Osama Kamal. During the conversation, students shared their experiences and aspirations and discussed how the scholarship had supported their academic and professional paths. They expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Central Bank of Egypt for providing them with this great opportunity, which opens doors of hope and excellence. One of the disabled students emphasized that they could achieve accomplishments in several scientific and literary fields.
Following this, Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, delivered a speech about this initiative and its details. Mr. Hassan Abdullah, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, also delivered a speech about the role of economic institutions in supporting youth and investing in human capital.
During the events, it was confirmed that the initiative's philosophy is based on the fundamental principle that no financial obstacle should prevent any Egyptian student from achieving excellence and creativity.
It is worth noting that this ceremony, hosted by Cairo University—the scientific edifice that has given rise to some of the most inspiring and generous stories—honors the first batch of beneficiaries of the initiative's scholarships and opens broad horizons for the children of Egypt toward high-quality education and fair opportunities for excellence.
