Participation of Suez University in Egypt's Cybersecurity Conference

This morning, Egypt's first cybersecurity conference was launched under the auspices of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and a number of other ministries.

Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU President, the University participated in the conference. It was attended by Dr. Sherif Abu Majd, the Executive Director of Information of the University, and Dr. Haitham Farouk, the Deputy Executive Director and Director of the University's Information and Infrastructure Network. Representatives of the University participated in the various sessions of the conference, which was attended by a number of ministers and lasted for two days.

The "president" stressed that keenness to participate in such events is of great value in view of the increasing importance of the theme of this Conference in the present era; In particular, with the launching of the new Republic, the Egyptian State is working to provide comprehensive support for digital transformation through the strengthening of infrastructure. Egypt's digital platform, which includes all government services, has been launched in one platform to save time and effort in order to preserve digital transformation gains, cybersecurity has received special attention.
