Hazem Mohamed Al-Sabbagh, a student of the SU Faculty of Arts (disabled people), won fourth place in the World Karate Championships, which were held in France during the period from 4 to 10. This is within the Egyptian Team Mission of the " people with disabilities ".

Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU President, sent a congratulatory telegram via the SU Media Center Page. He also congratulated on his behalf and on behalf of all university members congratulated the student Hazem Mohamed Al-Sabbagh on this outstanding achievement, which raised the name of Egypt in this great tournament. As well, the president wished the student always excellence and promotion to raise the name of Egypt and Suez University in various forums locally, regionally, and internationally.

The World Intellectual Disabilities Championships is the student's first firm friction at the international level. He was ranked fourth at the world level in the events of 1500 players from 95 countries.
