He affirmed that the university’s mission is not limited to education and scientific research, but extends to upholding noble values and building a society based on respect, justice, and equality.
He also highlighted the attention given by the State, under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to these groups through the presidential initiative “Tamkeen” (Empowerment), which aims to integrate them into society and provide educational and care opportunities from early childhood. This reflects the political leadership’s vision of building a new republic that places human dignity at its core and opens horizons of hope and creativity.
The University President further emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, led by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, pays great attention to persons with disabilities by launching programs and plans to facilitate their access to educational services and university activities, and to provide academic and psychological support that ensures their effective participation in university life. The Ministry also works to raise awareness of the rights of children and youth and to embed the values of compassion and justice within the educational process, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
