Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, announced that the Petroleum Engineering and Mining Engineering programs at the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering have received accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE). This achievement reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing the quality of education and advancing the level of its academic programs.
The University President emphasized that this milestone marks a qualitative leap in the progress of the faculty and the university as a whole, noting that the accreditation of academic programs by NAQAAE serves as an official certification of their compliance with national and international standards in higher education. This accreditation comes as part of a series of consecutive achievements realized by various faculties of the university over the past few months, as several other programs have also been accredited—demonstrating the university’s strategic vision for educational development.
Prof. Dr. Heniegal expressed his deep happiness with this accomplishment, extending congratulations to the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, its Dean Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed Ali, the Vice Deans, quality assurance officers, Dr. Mohamed Ismail, Director of the University Quality Assurance Center, and Dr. Walaa Abbas, former Director of the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit, for their continuous efforts that culminated in this success.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed Ali, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his gratitude to the University President for his ongoing support, stressing that this accreditation represents an important step toward strengthening the quality of education and preparing graduates to compete in both the local and international labor markets.
