Prof. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, announced that the Faculty of Medicine at Suez University has achieved fifth place among Egyptian medical faculties in training internship doctors through the Incision Academy platform. This comes as part of the mandatory training project implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance the skills of newly graduated doctors.
Prof. Heniegal emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting all programs that contribute to improving its graduates’ competencies and equipping them with modern practical skills that enable them to excel in both local and international labor markets.
He added that this advanced ranking is the result of continuous effort by the faculty’s medical training program team and internship doctors, noting that the program adopts the highest global standards by integrating online lectures with hands-on clinical training, ensuring the preparation of well-qualified graduates capable of delivering high-quality medical care.
The university president concluded by expressing his appreciation to the Faculty of Medicine community for their outstanding performance, which raises the name of Suez University, reaffirming the university’s ongoing support for all initiatives that aim to graduate competent doctors who uphold both scientific and humanitarian values.
In this regard, Prof. Doaa Mohamed Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, explained that the faculty recently welcomed a committee from the Supreme Council of Universities to monitor the implementation of the internship training program. The committee reviewed the quality of clinical training across various departments. She noted that the faculty provides a distinguished training environment equipped with state-of-the-art clinical laboratories, ensuring an ideal setting for learning and practical application.
Meanwhile, Prof. Asr Salam, Executive Director of the University Hospitals at Suez University, stated that the university hospitals form the cornerstone of internship doctor training, offering comprehensive field-based practical opportunities under the supervision of faculty members from all medical specialties. This, he affirmed, guarantees an outstanding training environment that enhances doctors’ efficiency and contributes to improving the quality of medical services provided to patients.
