In a new achievement added to its record of excellence, the Faculty of Media and Communication Technology at Suez University won first and third place in the Best Awareness Poster Competition, organized by the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation in collaboration with the European Union, as part of the events of Cairo Water Week. The event was attended by His Excellency Dr. Hani Sewilam, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, and featured participation from 17 universities and 95 contestants representing various Egyptian universities.
The works submitted by the faculty’s students received high praise from the judging panel, which included prominent media figures, for their design quality, clarity of message, and depth of awareness impact.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, congratulated the Faculty of Media and Communication Technology—students, faculty members, and teaching assistants—on this honorable achievement. He emphasized that this victory reflects the faculty’s distinction and leadership in the field of media, embodying the university’s efforts to support student creativity and enhance the role of academic institutions in addressing community issues.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Galal, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of the University, for his continuous support to the faculty, which played a vital role in achieving this success. He affirmed that this accomplishment is the fruit of collaboration and integrated efforts between students and faculty members, reflecting the spirit of excellence and belonging that distinguishes the faculty.
