Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced the issuance of the presidential decision to appoint Prof. Dr. Ezzeddine Husseini Jad as Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, congratulated Dr. Jad and wished him success and progress. He also stressed that this decision is a potent addition to the university's education system, due to his distinguished academic and administrative expertise, and his track record of achievements in serving the educational process and students. For his part, Dr. Jad expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the political leadership's trust in him. However, he stressed his appreciation and gratitude for the support of His Excellency, the President of the University, stressing his determination to continue working hard and in fruitful cooperation with all sectors of the university to improve the quality of education and achieve the aspirations of students, in line with the state's vision to develop the higher education system.
