Under the auspices of Dr. Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Suez University signed a cooperation protocol with the New Mansoura University. With a view to strengthening cooperation between the faculties of petroleum engineering and mining at Suez University and Faculty of Engineering at the new Mansoura University; to develop a framework for cooperation between the two sides in several areas.

Moreover, Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi pointed out that the protocol provides for cooperation in many fields, including: holding training courses and programs at the University's various factories for staff, associate staff, and students; Conducting joint research projects and laboratory and scientific experiments, and conducting summer training for students of the petroleum and gas engineering program of the New Mansoura University within the SU Faculty of Petroleum Engineering and Mining, In addition to participating in the implementation of joint seminars, conferences, workshops and field visits between the parties, as well as joint supervision of theses and research and exchange of scientific and technical expertise between the parties.

For his part, Dr. Muawad Al-Khouli praised the scientific and research expertise of Suez University, especially the University's Faculty of Petroleum Engineering and Mining, as the first petroleum faculty in the Middle East and North Africa. In addition, he Noted that the New Mansoura University aims to develop technological education and pay attention to students' training and qualification; To prepare a new generation capable of absorbing and developing modern technologies, developing scientific skills and practical training for students of the University's Faculty of Engineering.

On the other hand, Suez University signed a protocol for cooperation with the Slovak University of Matej Bel (MBU); With the aim of promoting cooperation between the two universities in the academic field, training, scientific research, exchange of experiences and academic potential of mutual interest, as well as exchange of scientific visits between the two universities' professors; To participate in conferences, seminars, workshops and research programs, in addition to encouraging graduate students to attend academic programs.
