As part of the events of the First “Tarab” Festival for Music and Singing for university and institute teams in Egypt, this morning featured a recreational beach tour for the participating delegations on the coast of El-Suwaisa Beach. The activity came within the festival’s program organized by Suez University in cooperation with the Leaders’ Preparation Institute, under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Students took part in a variety of beach games and recreational activities in an atmosphere filled with joy and interaction, fostering bonds of familiarity and friendship among participants from different universities. The tour is part of the “Know Your Country” initiative, which aims to introduce university youth to the touristic landmarks of Suez Governorate and strengthen national belonging through discovering the beauty of Egyptian nature.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, stated that building a university student’s character is not confined to lecture halls, but extends to exploring the history and beauty of the homeland. He emphasized that today’s beach tour was not merely a recreational activity, but an educational message intended to acquaint university students with the touristic potential of Suez Governorate and to reinforce their connection to the place that hosts them.
The artistic performances are scheduled to continue in the evening, with musical and singing shows presented by the universities of Benha, Suez Canal, Ain Shams, Suez, and Cairo, eagerly anticipated by both the audience and the artistic committees.
