In a vibrant and artistic atmosphere, Suez University welcomed the delegations of public, national, technological, and private universities participating in the events of the “Tarab Al-Awal” Festival for Music and Singing. The festival is held under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, supervised by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, in cooperation with the Leadership Development Institute headed by Prof. Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister for Student Activities and Director of the Institute, and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Ezz El-Din Hosseini Gad, Acting Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.
From the very first moments of the delegations’ arrival, Suez University ensured a warm and distinguished reception. Students and their companions were greeted with great hospitality, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and openness among Egyptian universities. Accommodation arrangements inside the university city and facilities designated for guests were smoothly and efficiently organized to ensure the participants’ comfort throughout the festival.
In line with the commitment to organizing the festival with the highest degree of professionalism, Prof. Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister for Student Activities and Director of the Leadership Development Institute, held a coordination meeting with the heads of participating delegations. The meeting addressed the foundations and regulations of the artistic competitions, mechanisms of evaluation, and ensuring equal opportunities for all participating teams. Emphasis was also placed on adherence to the event schedule and on creating a positive competitive environment that fosters students’ creativity.
In a statement, the University President affirmed that “student activities play a pivotal role in shaping the university student’s personality, providing them with space for self-expression, and developing their leadership and social skills.” He added that the “Tarab Al-Awal” Festival represents an ideal platform to discover young talents and enhance cultural exchange among students of Egyptian universities.
