Chaired by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, the Dean Selection Committee for the Faculty of Science convened this morning to assess candidates for the position of Dean. The committee included the following esteemed members:
Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Abdel Azim El-Sharkawy, Professor at the Faculty of Science and former President of Suez University
Prof. Dr. Osama Masoud, former Vice President of Suez University
Prof. Dr. Gamal Abdel Nasser, former Vice President of Cairo University
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Qader, Professor at the Faculty of Science, Suez University
The committee conducted interviews with the candidates, reviewing their submitted materials and discussing their proposed future plans. The candidates presented diverse strategic visions for the coming phase, including the development of curricula, the promotion of scientific research, and the enhancement of academic performance quality. Special emphasis was placed on mechanisms to advance the faculty and broaden avenues of scientific cooperation with both national and international institutions.
In an exclusive statement, the University President emphasized that the selection process adheres to the highest standards of objectivity and transparency. He added:
