Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, a delegation of students from Suez University participated in the activities of the Sixth Cultural Awareness Seminar of Suez Governorate, organized under the auspices of His Excellency Major General Staff Officer Tarek Hamed El-Shazly, Governor of Suez, and held at the Nile Media Center in Suez.
Governor El-Shazly opened the seminar with an awareness lecture on the Israeli-Iranian war, with the first part of the lecture addressing the war’s dimensions and its effects, as well as raising awareness about the importance of safeguarding Egyptian national security amid surrounding regional conflicts.
In the second part, the Governor focused on the main developmental goals of Suez Governorate and the challenges the administration is working to overcome for the benefit of its citizens.
A documentary film showcasing the recent development projects and achievements in the governorate was then screened. The seminar continued with a musical performance featuring a selection of patriotic songs presented by the Cultural Palace Choir, reflecting deep sentiments of national belonging.
The seminar concluded with the Governor honoring the top achievers of the national technical diploma exams (both five-year and three-year systems) at the national level, in recognition of their excellence and dedication, with wishes for their continued success.
Students from Suez University expressed their joy at participating in this distinguished event, which they saw as a powerful tool for combating extremist ideologies by helping to reshape awareness and understanding, particularly among youth—the nation's future.
