Al-Sharqawi joins in the celebrations of the glorious Qyama Day

In the presence of General Staff of War Abdulmajid Saqr, Suez Governor, Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi, SU President, participated in congratulations to the Coptic brotherhood on the glorious Qyama Day celebrations. They were accompanied by General Staff War, Sharif Jouda Al-Arayishi, Third Army Field Commander, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Atta, SU Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, several members of the Deans of Faculties and Leaders of the University, and a few popular and executive leaders in the governorate. All of them visited Mary Gerges Church in Al-Sabbah, where they were received by Pop Bemwa, the Suez Bishop, and Al-Raea Al-Saleh Church in Suez, where they were received by Father Pichai Isaac, the Church Shepherd.

At the meeting, Suez Governor expressed his pleasure on this occasion, stressing the strong interdependence between the two sides of Egypt's national unity in general and the interrelationship between Muslims and Christians in Suez. He pointed out that on our feast days, we live in an atmosphere of familiarity and love that prevails among Egyptians. Our feast days unify us and there is no difference between Muslims and Christians.

For his part, SU President congratulated the Coptic brothers on Egypt's celebrations of Al-Qyama Day, which reflected the values of love and friendship among the Egyptians. Moreover, he noted that all of Egypt's celebrations coincide with various religious and national holidays and events such as Al-Qyama Day, Eid al-Fitr al-Mubarak, and Sinai Liberation and the participation of all Egyptians in these events affirm the great values of tolerance and citizenship that the Egyptian people live and believe in.

Meanwhile, The Third Army Field Commander congratulated all the Coptic brothers on the glorious Qyama Day and expressed his pleasure at participating in this event, affirming tolerance and brotherhood among all the great Egyptian people.

Later, Sheikh Majid Radi, undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf in Suez, congratulated the attendees, stressing that the Islamic religion ordered us to congratulate the Coptic brothers on the glorious Day of Qyama, noting that the Prophet Peace Be Upon Him commanded us to act kindly towards the Christians. He stressed that this spirit always determines Egypt's national identity.
