Prof. Ashraf Hanigal, President of **Suez University, announced the receipt of a report confirming that the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) - Suez University student chapter has won the **2025 Excellence Award for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region. Notably, this chapter is the only one from Egypt to receive such recognition, reflecting the exceptional level of its students and the high-quality events they organize—serving both university students and the surrounding community.  
On this occasion, the university president extended his congratulations to the chapter’s students, emphasizing that student activities are not merely extracurricular but essential in shaping students' personalities and enhancing their academic and professional skills. The university is committed to fostering a supportive environment that encourages participation in activities that complement academic learning, providing valuable opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings and broaden perspectives through interaction and collaboration with fellow students and faculty members.  
Furthermore, **Prof. Essam Ahmed Ali, Dean of the **Faculty of Petroleum Engineering, congratulated the students on this unprecedented achievement, highlighting their dedication and professionalism.
