Under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, the Board of Directors of the University Hospital convened, with the attendance of Prof. Dr. Doaa Mohamed Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahman Al-Tahan, Executive Director of the Hospital, members of the Board of Directors, and stakeholders involved in the implementation of the project.
At the beginning of the meeting, the University President extended his greetings and congratulations to all on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, wishing that God returns these blessed days with goodness, prosperity, and blessings. Following this, the council was informed of the decision by the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of University Hospitals approving the trial operation of Suez University Hospital from April 2025 until August 31, 2025.
In this context, the University President reviewed with attendees all preparations regarding the medical equipment for the opening of outpatient clinics across various specialties, as well as verifying the readiness of the hospital's infrastructure to receive patients.
Prof. Dr. Heniegal stated that university hospitals are a fundamental pillar in providing advanced healthcare services to the community, significantly contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical care thanks to their distinguished material and human resources.
The University President affirmed:
"This outstanding medical facility, which is about to be inaugurated, is an essential part of the Egyptian state’s plan under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide the best healthcare for citizens and achieve sustainable development. We are proud of this achievement, which embodies our collective efforts in service of our beloved nation."
