Suez University participates in a meeting with the youth of the faculty members of the Leaders Development Institute

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU vice-president for education and student affairs, Suez University participated in the events in the training program "Staff Youth Forum". This forum was organized by the Leaders Development Institute in Helwan from 28 to 31 March, under the theme "Together We Meet". As well, this forum seeks to achieve multiple goals such as combating non-equitable concepts and ideas that are incompatible with religious beliefs and the inherent cultural and societal legacies of the Egyptians, paying attention to building awareness and preparing a generation of staff youth cadres to convey those experiences to students.

Furthermore, It also aims to raise awareness among the youth, especially in view of the rapid development of modern communication technology and the powerful means of influencing the formation of consciousness and the war waged by the state against the enemies of the nation.

Moreover, The Forum's program included a number of lectures, workshops and various activities, in which a number of symbols of thought and culture participated and received multiple lectures such as a lecture entitled "Challenges to Egyptian national security" and "The role of technology in modern wars and its impact on Egyptian national security, as well as “an interactive workshop on ways to counter destructive ideas” and a lecture entitled "The media and its role in fighting radical rumors and ideas", as well as a lecture entitled "The centrism of religious discourse and how to combat destructive and extremist ideas".

The staff members participating in the forum expressed their pleasure at these activities, which had a great impact on them, and paid tribute to the management of the Leaders Development Institute for the great effort to enlighten the minds of all members of the academic community.

Dr. Al-Azab Tahoun, Dr. Mohamed Al-Imam, Dr. Ahmed Faraj, Dr. Aya Al-Ahmadi, Dr. Fawzia Rashid, and Dr. Samah Ibrahim participated from Suez University.
