Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, announced that the Council of National Universities, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has approved the establishment of Suez National University, with studies set to begin in the upcoming academic year 2025/2026.
The university president explained that His Excellency the Minister has emphasized the necessity of providing an advanced educational experience through academic programs that align with labor market demands and promote sustainable development. He also highlighted the minister’s insistence on the importance of establishing a new administrative structure that fosters innovation and international partnerships.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal stressed that such major projects would not have come to light without the significant support of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who prioritizes educational and scientific research projects.
