Power Creators of the SU Faculty of Engineering that participant in the Innovation Stimulus Competition 2023, was able to qualify for the final of the competition, following the first and second qualifiers organized by the Innovators Support Fund as part of the competition launched by the Fund in February last. It was conducted under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, welcomed the team members. He also stressed his continued support to them and all the students at the University in various events and competitions that hone their skills and gain them a lot of practical experience in their field of study. The president appreciated the efforts of the members of the team to reach this level of excellence.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanigel, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, stated that the members of the qualified team are:

As well, the Dean of the Faculty also explained that Innovation Catalyst 2023 is a competition targeting innovative students in Egyptian universities from all different scientific disciplines, who have innovative ideas that address difficulties, achieve market needs, and overcome existing challenges.

It is worth mentioning that the organization and follow-up of the team was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Aziz, the Undersecretary for Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Faraj, the Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering.
