The Supreme Council of Universities, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has approved the formation and specification of responsibilities for the university education sector committees for the new term 2025–2028.
As part of this process, Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Abdel-Azim El-Sharqawi, former President of Suez University and Emeritus Professor at the university's Faculty of Science, has been appointed Chair of the Basic Sciences Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Dr. El-Sharqawi, wishing him continued success and progress. He also expressed his pride in this appointment, emphasizing the honor it brings to the entire university.
