Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, oversaw the SU Chapter AICHE of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and at the SU Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering won the world's first place as one of the best student classes at the world level, which is presented annually to student classes showing an exceptional level of university and community participation, enthusiasm, and professional competence.

The SU President added that there are many distinguished models of students that the University can create and innovate in all fields, to complement the development process and meet contemporary challenges.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty, stressed that the university administration is constantly keen to provide support to outstanding students in all activities to motivate them to continue to present their thoughts and passions through various activities.

He also added that the aim of the presence of the various Chapters in the faculty is to promote academic learning techniques and personal development systems, trying to create links between the university and industry at the different faculty departments.

On this occasion, the SU President sincerely congratulated the AIChE Suez Student Chapter and expressed his pride in achieving this achievement. He also thanked the team members and all the supporters who contributed to this success.
