In the light of the “New Bedaya” to build Egyptian humans and under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, the Suez University organized an awareness medical convoy at Al-Gharib Society for Social Development in Omar bin Al-Khattab area in Al-Arabeen district. Therefore, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Physical Therapy, and the Technical Institute of Nursing participated in the convoy. The specializations involved in the convoy were internal diabetes specialization - general surgery – rheumatology and physical medicine - ear, nose, and throat (ENT) - urinary tract - physical therapy with general specialization, and disbursement of free treatment.

Moreover, SU President stated that this convey is one of the activities that the University is keen to organize periodically, especially in the light of the presidential initiative, which includes several axes, including health. The SU President emphasized that this activity is one of the most important roles of the University in the service of the surrounding community by investing its material and human potential to provide services to the simple citizen.

His Excellency announced that the convoy had resulted in the medical examination of 477 beneficiary cases:

• Conduct medical examinations on 194 cases of internal specialization and diabetology.
• Conduct medical examinations on 54 cases specializing in general surgery.
• Conduct medical examinations on 60 cases specializing in rheumatology and natural medicine.
• Conduct medical examinations on 114 cases specializing in ear, nose, and throat (ENT).
• Conduct medical examinations on 38 cases specializing in urology.
• Conduct medical examinations on 17 cases specializing in physical therapy.

With free treatment for all frequent cases on the caravan.

In addition to providing awareness consultations to women who frequent the caravan on how to self-examine the breast and its importance, as well as giving health education to the patient individually and his pregnancy work to measure diabetes analysis, give his call about diabetes, injecting areas of the drug insulin and measure pressure and diabetes for 60 cases.
