This morning, in his office, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, received the team of the Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority as part of the team's visit to approve the civil and architectural construction program and power and electrical machinery program of the SU Faculty of Technology and Education, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hussam al-Din Mustafa Attiyah, Dean of the Faculty. The team included:

- Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Badran (team leader)

- Prof. Dr.  Ibrahim Nassar (member)

- Prof. Dr. Jehan Ahmed (member)

In the presence of Dr. Mohammed Ismail, Director of the SU Quality Assurance Center.

The SU President stated that the University's desire to adopt its academic programs is part of the Egyptian State's keen interest in higher education, scientific research, and emphasis on the quality and level of education offered to students to compete at the local, regional, and international levels.

Hnijal also explained that obtaining accreditation for educational institutions from the National Authority for Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation has become urgent, as it is an independent body responsible for measuring the quality of the educational process in all its components and directly follows the Presidency of the cabinet. A graduate of accredited educational institutions has become a priority in various institutions locally and internationally. In addition, in competition with corresponding universities, obtaining accreditation is important and necessary to excel in such competitions.

It is worth mentioning that the visit lasts for three days during which the committee inspects and studies all the elements submitted by the faculty for accreditation.
