An educational seminar entitled "Earthquakes and Rumors” at the Faculty of Education

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Abdel Azim Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU vice-president for education and student affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ihab Shehata, the dean of the Faculty of Education, the SU Student Community for Egypt organized a seminar about the earthquakes and rumors about risks and natural disasters.

Furthermore, the lecture was delivered by Dr. Sherif Ahmed Abu El-Majd, a professor of the Geology Department at the Faculty of Science, who addressed the introduction of earthquakes and whether they could be predicted and rumors about Egypt's entry into earthquake belts. Also, Abu-Majd has made it clear that these rumors are unfounded and that so far earthquakes are not scientifically predictable, as is rumored, and has answered questions from the audience on this important topic of concern to many.

Moreover, the seminar began with a speech by the den of the faculty, where he welcomed guests and spoke about the role of student community-organized courses in the wealth of students' skills and the acquisition of knowledge on many important issues locally, regionally, and internationally. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Dsouqi, the leader of the student community for Egypt on various family activities and also addressed the risks and natural disasters affecting the world and the position of our beloved Egypt.

The seminar was attended by agents of the Faculty of Education, staff members, faculty students, and various university faculties.
