Dr. Yahya Mohamed Mukhtar, a lecturer in the Chinese Language Department of the SU Faculty of Arts, participated in the tasks of simultaneous translation of the Chinese language for the work of the World Urban Forum. “Mukhtar” translated the speech of His Excellency the President of the Republic/ Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Prime Minister, Secretary-General of the United Nations, Palestinian President, Sudanese President, and Yemeni President.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, thanked Dr. Yahya Mukhtar. The SU President stressed that the participation of Dr. Yahya in this major event reflects the high level of supervision of all the University's associated staff. He emphasized the distinction of the Chinese Language Department of the Faculty of Arts as one of the unique disciplines qualified for the requirements of the labor market.
