This afternoon, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between Suez University and Al-Zahr Al-Sharif, where Prof. Dr. Ezzalden Husseini Jad, Acting SU Vice-President for Education and Student Affairs, signed as the representative of the university while Dr. Al-Saadani Shuitah, Director General of Preaching at Suez Preaching Area, signed as the representative of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Islamic Research Complex - General Secretariat for Advocacy and Religious Information.

The SU President stated that this Protocol is one of the most important conventions since Al-Azhar Al-Sharif is a religious castle and a global Islamic establishment with a profound impact on Egyptian society and the Islamic world, and a centrist symbol of the Islamic religion in Egypt and Islamic countries.

Moreover, the SU President explained that the purpose of this convention between Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the University is to cooperate in organizing meetings, seminars, and religious lectures to spread religious awareness and disseminate centrist Islam among the SU students.

Hnijal also noted that this protocol is conducted due to Suez University's significant role in society service, the development of the educational and religious education process, the renaissance of teaching the university students religiously and morally, the strengthening of cooperation between the University and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and in the interest of mutually productive collaboration.
