Suez University participates in the fourth virtual forum with the business owner of Egyptian universities in cooperation with the American Agency for International Development and the American University in Cairo

This morning, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, Participated in the launch of the 4th Virtual Forum for Communication and Interaction with Business Owners of Egyptian Universities - UCCD Virtual Career Expo 2023. It was attended by Ms. Leslie Reed, the USAID Mission Director for Egypt, Dr. Ahmad Dallal, the President of the American University in Cairo, Dr. Mohamed Hamza, the Consultant of the American University in Cairo, and the participation of several Egyptian public universities.

Moreover, The NBE and Etisalat by e& Company participated in the event as major partners of the forum organized by the UCCD project. This event was Implemented by the American University in Cairo (AUC) with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and in cooperation with university centers for professional development established at universities: Luxor, Alexandria, Aswan, Assuit, Beni Suef, Sohag, El-Sadat, Suez, Ein Shams, Tanta, Kafr el-Sheikh, El-Mansoura, Monufia, El-Minya, Zagazig.

In his statement, Sharqawi thanked the United States Agency for International Development and the American University in Cairo for their efforts to qualify the students at various Egyptian universities for the requirements of the labor market. The SU President also noted that the task of rehabilitating the youth in this way is pursued by various State institutions so that the younger generation can work and contribute to the construction of the new Republic.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Dallal, the President of American University in Cairo, ensured that: "This forum is a successful example of fruitful cooperation between fifteen Egyptian universities, the business community, the American Agency for International Development and the American University in Cairo, which shares their professional development experiences".

Furthermore, more than 140 students and graduates from Suez University participated in all faculties after attending workshops on how to write a biography and after reviewing it from the center.

The three-day event from March 6 to 8 includes a large number of virtual events and seminars addressing the most important developments in the labor market and entrepreneurship. It also shows students and graduates how to prepare for the start of their careers, in various sectors, such as banking, health professions, construction, energy, communications, logistics support, and telecommuting, where representatives of major institutions and companies such as the "National Bank of Egypt" and " Etisalat by e& Company " are presented and participated in seminars. The first day of the virtual entrepreneurship forum is also allocated as an alternative. A number of experiences and success stories are reviewed for a number of entrepreneurs and the most important steps needed to start projects and obtain funding.

Students and graduates from participating Egyptian universities register on the virtual platform, upload their CVs, and communicate with representatives of companies to learn about the most important functions available within the virtual chat rooms of different companies and banks via chat rooms, in addition to attending various seminars during the forum and over three days.
